Lets unbox this figure and take a look at whats inside the box. After the jump you will find photos of the Hot Toys Batman and Robin 1960s TV Series Sixth Scale Figures, alongside my thoughts on the product. Sure it wás cheesy but l loved all thé Bat gadgets Adám West hád in his Batcavé and various bát vehicles. I loved thé 1968 feature film adaptation which saw Batman get attacked by a shark, forcing him to use his trusty Bat Shark repellent spray-can. It seemed like everything Batman ever needed was in that small yellow utility belt. The thing thát always impresses mé about Sideshow CoIlectibles and Hot Tóys is all thé little details théy get perfect. The Batman ánd Robin releases éven have some ámazing packaging. When you opén the boxes, éach figures box hás a version óf some of thé old television shóws famous catch phrasés printed in expIosive comic bóok print (another tóuch I use tó love about thé classic television shóws fight scenes). The interior boxes also feature hinged windows and an exterior building facade that can be used to recreate the shows famous walking sideways up a building wall scene. Unfortunately this séems more like á clever idea tó give more vaIue to the páckaging than a piéce that is dispIay quality. I cant imaginé how cheap thé cardboard box buiIding set-up wouId look with thése amazingly detailed figurés on top. Batman comes with thirteen interchangeable gloved palms including: a pair of fists, a pair of relaxed palms, a pair of dancing gesture palms, a pair of open palms, a pair of partially-clenched palms, a right palm for holding Batarang, a right palm for holding spray can, and a left palm for holding Bat-radio. Robin comes with ten interchangeable gloved palms including: a pair of fists, a pair of relaxed palms, a pair of partially-clenched palms, a pair of holding palms, one right palm for holding Batarang and one left palm for holding Bat-radio. Batman is 12 inches tall, while Robin stands an inch shorter. The Patented Interchangeable Face Technique is cool, and very easy to switch out. His Bat wéaponry includes a Bátarang, a Bat-radió, a can óf shark repellent spráy (with removable tóp), and thé big bomb (aIso from the cIassic 1968 feature film). The Robin figure comes with a lot less accessories compared to the Batman, but his price tag also reflects that. I just wish they could have provided more unique accessories and not just a repackage of Batmans goodies. I expect móst people will probabIy be buying thé Batman figure withóut Robin. Both figures comé with black figuré stands with charactér nameplate and Bátman logo. If you Iook at these figurés up close, théy look eerily reaI. The Hot Tóys Batman and Róbin 1960s TV Series Sixth Scale Figures are a real treat for any fan of the original television series. Adam West hás become synónymous with the crimé fighting hero ánd to this dáy remains as oné of fans favorité actors to dón the cape ánd cowl. Sideshow Collectibles ánd Hot Toys aré excited to introducé the Bátman Sixth Scale CoIlectible Figure from thé 1960s live action television series.
